After a nite in Tanjung Balai…
small port town meant for transit of passenggers and trader.
i head up to Medan.
its about 300km
1st trial of riding my kapcai in indonesia…
hahaha..
ok lah
i hv been here too many times i guess..
too lazy to take pictures and just nnd to get the hang of adventure riding .
and picking up the momentum of riding solo again in foreign land.

From medan i head to Lhoksemawe.
its north east of Medan.
used to be the port of entry for our navy sending suplies for Tsunami victims in aceh…
long time agolah.
now its more dev and getting bigger..
and the coastal is as beautiful as always.

i thing i like about the wet market here is like in the open.
ppl can just ride up the the merchant and buy.
u dont need to park your bike.
drive thru market.haha
and the beach is a ctr for family gathering in the evening and weekends..

not to forget
this is where the syariah law is strictly enforced..
no shorts,tights and anything the muslim rules..

as usual when u nd to travel with your bike…
lots f paperworklah
once u get it sorted…
it wont be smooth sailing
but saves u lots of hassle later

special thanks to Ijaw and Piee for coming along with me to the jetty.
they waited the whole morning while i clear all the paperwork.

after all paperwork is done…
its time to push the bike and head for the ferry.
its going to be a long ride for me after this.

it is securely tide to the stairs and hand rail…
lets hope it doesnt fall
hahaha

the journey took about 5 hrs..
by the time i reach Tanjung balai jetty its almost dark.

while me busy with the paperwork..

all done and now the adventure begins….
