Finally, here in Manali, I am able to upload pictures to the server. Was at a cybercafe for more than 5 hours. The fee per hour is 50 rupees.

Diwan-i-Khas – Hall of Private Audience

This is Anup Talao, “The Peerless Pool or Kapur Talao”. This was the recreation place for the Emperor and during festivals the whole tank was filled with coins.

Couldn’t make it straight to Manali as it was already dark. Just arrived in Bilaspur, 450km north of New Delhi, after riding for a long 10 hours. Got lost for good 2½ hours while trying to get out of New Delhi and as usual getting the right direction seems like taboo.

As I am typing this by the roadside juice stall in Bilaspur,  I am surrounded by locals wondering what I am doing on my phone. They are  trying very hard to read what I type. I went looking for a cybercafe for the purpose of emptying my camera memory card so that I can really make full use of it tomorrow but too bad, there’s none. Not in this small town in the middle of nowhere.

My butt really hurts from the long ride, hahaha, but seriously, my Lil G performs well today. Locals were amazed at how this small cute bike could brave itself descending up the hilly road. I am very proud of her.

Got my self a cute little room. Really need a good rest. Will be heading up to Manali tomorrow.
