Selamat sampai di Nepal.
Penerbangan (Royal Nepal) mengambil masa 3 jam; berlepas jam 2.50pm, sampai 5.50pm. Flight delay 30 minit.
So tired and grumpy. I need a good hot shower and good rest. Been running since morning and finally in this dusty city of Kathmandu. Tomorrow is another day.
Disini semuanya ada tax. Government tax 13% + servis tax 10%.
Takda option lain. Kedai semua tutup. Jalan lengang dan sepi. Nak keluar pun takda apa.

Landed safely in Nepal. The Royal Nepal flight took about 3 hours; departed at 2.50pm and arrived 5.50pm. The flight was delayed for about 30 minutes. Took another 2 hours to reach hotel (which is only about 30km away from the airport) due to the chaos and crisis in Nepal.
It pours heavily this evening but the locals seem to ignore it as they have to make use of the time (2 hours from 6m to 8pm) allocated to them by the opposition alliance to go out and do their things. Any other time is curfew time. Action will be taken to those who defies.
Last time I checked, the temperature was at 20°C; and it will drop at night. Kathmandu is situated at 1360m above sea level and the only things you can hear are the the distant barking of dogs and sudden rush of wind.
Lil G is still in Bangkok waiting to be shipped on Friday morning. Hope he will reach here by evening as scheduled so that we can make a move on Saturday.
I am so tired and grumpy. I need a good hot shower and good rest. Been running since morning and finally I am here in this dusty city of Kathmandu. Tomorrow is another day.
Here, the tax is quite high; Government tax 13%, service tax 10%. So whatever you buy, be it a box of drink, or simply fried rice, or room rental, everything will be +23% tax. A plate of fried rice with a cup of hot tea just now cost me 300 rupee; freakin’ RM15!
I have no options. The shops were all tightly shut, the streets were empty. I have no where to go.
